Oh, don't worry - I'm her fiancee. I never had any trouble with Lea after all these years until now. I think it just hurts more because of my other situation with my brother. I dunno.. It'll work itself out.
And chocolate works, but not for me. I started off with jewelary. Now I can't go lower than a 14 carrot band -.-

Trust me....you cannot go wrong with Jewerly....just do not go cheap...if you can't afford the decent stuff....then do not buy it. Or if you have to, put a note in the box and say:" Worth one upgrade...." or something to that effect.
Mrs Dood and I when we were married only could afford a 1/3rd of a carrot diamond.....we named it Specky...since it was so small...since we have been together I have upgraded it 5 times. She now owns a real nice 1.6 carrot VS class diamond....there are no flaws to the naked eye....nice little rock.....Princess Cut (Square shaped)....she loves it. So don't worry about that crap now....14 carrot is still a nice gift. Someday you will have the credit power to be stoopid like me and buy something you really can't afford...but the reward from the Lady is so worth the payments every stinkin' month. Whatever you buy at what you can afford just make it quality....even if it is small...it will be priceless later on. Mrs Dood still puts on Specky from time to time....it reminds her of our younger carefree days....She will never part with it.

We should start a pool as to how long the "What you believe in" thread will last (No mods allowed, cause they can just cheat). I just don't see it going on for too long, someone is bound to get offended or start debating and flaming. And then Savio will come in with the padlock and end it. So how 'bout it?
I give that thread 2 more pages before something happens leading to a lock.

Well I made a statment with in a post stating that it would be wiser on the Mods part to weed out any flames over simply closing the thread. Are we not in the Season of Tolerance? Giving? It is is easier to close the thread then to work at nuturing it....Other words....easier to destroy then build.....

The real question then comes down to how patient and willing are the mods then. Can we count on Savio or Lasareth to really put in that kind of effort to weed stuff out? Only time will tell...
Oooo... That kinda sounded like some sort of teaser trailer.

This year I bought her a nice little ring on a while gold band with a ruby gemstone cut into a teardrop shape. Ruby is her favourite gemstone and red is her favourite color.. so score.

Good Job...hehe Also if and when you have Children...they will realize with in time that Mom's stuff becomes their stuff....
Our daughter is now realizing this...she is 14 and sees all of Mom's jewelry and knows she will get most of it....not all...her brother will still get some too.
Nothing like watching their face when they open the jewelry gift....that is better then any amount of carots.....

Did you guys know that there are 410 people viewing Riverside?
They should come here!!!
Anyways, I feel as though I have neglected the off-topic forum, so here I am.
Just got back from last minute christmas shopping. I had a great time with my family.

400?!?! Wow, we're not popular anymore. EPIC, I just checked and give that thread maybe one more page because it is late and I don't know if a mod will catch it anytime soon. It seems to getting closer and closer to that fine line. Too bad too, it was going so well and I was interested in reading the responses. Then again, who knows? Maybe it won't degrade more than it already has.
Thanks for the Weird Al songs guys. That was just the thing I needed to shake off the holiday funk I was starting to get into.
I'll be out of town for the holidays so Have a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

I really hope it does go on for several pages. It's nice to see people actually not flaming each other. I've been encouraged and intrigued reading the responses.
OK, OK. I'm really going. See everyone later. Good night!
